The Scoring Series

The Scoring Series returns to provide the ultimate in lacrosse offensive development training. This premier program covers a complete range of training techniques, focused on perfecting the art of scoring, from advanced dodging tactics to the mental approach to offensive play. Every session is designed to not only sharpen physical abilities but also to build mental toughness, enhance decision-making, and maintain composure under pressure.

What sets the Scoring Series apart from other camps and clinics is its strong focus on the mental side of offensive play. Recognizing that mental toughness is just as vital as physical skill, our program incorporates methods to build offensive resilience. Players will learn how to stay focused and composed in high-stakes situations, ensuring they perform their best when it matters most. Through specialized drills and game-like simulations, participants will develop a mental edge that complements their technical abilities.

The session will be capped at 25 players max

1 Hr. 30 min. Sessions on Monday evenings: 1/6, 1/13, 1/20, and 1/27

Location: LGC Athletics

4th - 8th Grade: 5:45pm - 7:15pm

1. Advanced ball handling & change of direction
2. Dodging, freezes, re-dodges from above the goal and wing. 
3. On the run & Time & Room scoring stratifications to develop form, accuracy, and velocity  
4. 2 man Game - shallow cuts, fades, mirrors, fly bys, picks, and combos  
5. Decision making systems - feeding, faking, scoring
6. Dodging, freezes, re-dodges from behind the goal and low wing/GLE. 
7. Island & Up the Hash Scoring progressions
8. 2 man Game - mirrors, fly bys, picks, razor picks
9. Invert and big/little install
10. Live reps and competition

Each session will have a theme of the week, mental, and physical performance
