The Scoring Series 

The D-Day Mini Camp is for advanced players who are determined to elevate their game. This elite program offers a full spectrum of training evolutions focused on mastering the art of scoring and for defense to understand and control the game in front and behind the goal. All of these sessions will be personally led by Coach LaHoda, and we’re building a new advanced skill stratification that we will be unveiling during these sessions. Mini camp is designed for our advanced players, and will include many newly released drills, advanced skill training, and mental performance materials for each player and position. As some of the top players in Northern Colorado, we want to continue to build your skills to help you excel in the season. 

Dates: 

• Wednesday 8/21 - Individual Skills, System Install/2 man game
• Wednesday 8/28 - Application/Position battle

Times by Position: 

• Defense: 7:00pm-8:30pm

Defensive Skill Overview

-Communication

-Footwork

-Approaches, Breakdowns, and Dictating Direction

-Hand speed & checks

-Slide positioning and execution

-Shows and Recoveries

-2 man defense 

Island and Behind the Cage

-Defending dodging, freezes, re-dodges from behind the goal and low wing/GLE. 

-Defending 2 man Game - mirrors, fly bys, picks, razor picks

-Invert and big/little install

-Decision making systems

-Live reps and competition

Each session will have a theme of the week, mental performance, and pro compassions
